Partnership
The flexibility of STARS allows you to create your own achievement packages to record any results that you need to track and assess. These packages can be shared with other schools providing that vital link to ensure a constantly evolving system to meet all needs.
STARS has been developed as a direct result of sharing good practice with other schools. All schools using STARS become 'Partner' schools, contributing to the range of achievement packages available. Cluster groups can work together to produce and share consistent assessments and all schools can review packages made available by other schools then download and install them. This allows you to share new ideas and different approaches to assessment or just to see how other schools are working with pupil assessment.
Our Partners Say
We needed a system for assessment that all staff could access in order to analyse and interpret data to inform future planning. STARS enabled us to do this without being a burden on one person. STARS has proved to be a whole school system with a purpose, that is effective and manageable. We have been able to develop it at our own pace and adapt it to meet our own needs. It is data driven but supports things that matter on a classroom level.
Ease of access to data, and how we use it to track children, proved invaluable during our recent OFSTED inspection to prove what we do well to make an impact.
Su Broadhurst - Headteacher. Castle Hill
STARS has given us the opportunity to track the performance of individual pupils, groups and year cohorts, and without doubt helped us to address 'Assessment for Learning' in a meaningful way. As a partner school, it has allowed us to network with others and share our ideas effectively and efficiently.
Ian Smith - Headteacher. Leonard Stanley C of E Primary
As a small school STARS helps us to easily track our pupils progress and record their individual achievements.
